Alan Wake 2 Update Adds FSR 4 and Frame Generation on PC

Alan Wake 2 received a new update on August 18, 2026, adding AMD FSR 4 and FSR Frame Generation support on PC. FSR 4 is automatically enabled on supported GPUs when FSR Super Resolution is selected, while Frame Generation is available through the graphics settings.

The update also expands support for Opacity Micromaps and Shader Execution Reordering across multiple GPU vendors. On all platforms, Remedy has fixed lingering audio synchronization issues during cinematics, along with a New Game Plus progression issue and a potential Quick Slots crash.
