Crash Bandicoot 4 Is Coming To PS5 and Xbox Series X In Addition To PC and Switch

Activision has announced the release of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time for PS5, Xbox Series, PC, and Nintendo Switch. It will be a free upgrade for PS4 and Xbox One.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time was first released for the PS4 and Xbox One last year. It is finally being ported for the PS5 and Xbox Series X later this year. Those who already own the game on PS4 and Xbox One will get a free upgrade to the new-generation consoles offering them 4K at 60 FPS.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is also coming to the PC and Nintendo Switch. While the PS5 and Xbox Series version will cost $59.99, the PC and Switch version will be sold for $39.99.

Here is the official announcement trailer for the game that was shared by Activision. It gives a glimpse at the various upgrades that are being offered for this port.

The PS5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch on March 12. It will launch for the PC through Battle.Net later this year. For the Nintendo Switch version, the resolution is 1080p in Docked and 720p in portable mode while the game will run at 30 FPS instead of the 60 FPS on the current-generation consoles.

This is the first mainline Crash Bandicoot game in more than a decade and it is a follow-up to the Crash Bandicoot Trilogy that was remade for the modern platforms.
