CD Projekt Red has released a new gameplay video from Cyberpunk 2077 giving fans a glimpse at the official footage from the PlayStation version.
Cyberpunk 2077 was initially set to launch on November 19 before it was delayed to December 10. Recently, some gameplay footage was leaked from the PS4 version thanks to an early copy that made it into the hands of a user. This resulted in at least 20 minutes of footage making it online.

After the gameplay was leaked, CD Projekt Red has now shared official gameplay footage from the PlayStation version. Most of the footage is taken from a PS4 Pro or PS5 where it is playable through backward compatibility.
Earlier this month, CD Projekt Red also showcased the Xbox One X and Series X version of the game. While there won’t be a next-generation upgrade for these games available at launch, they will still be playable on the PS5 and Xbox Series X thanks to backward compatibility support.
CD Projekt Red hasn’t stated what enhancements they will benefit from running on the new consoles compared to their predecessors, however, it is safe to assume that they will at least offer better performance and resolution. Ray-tracing support will be available on PC while an update next year will also add them to the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
CD Projekt Red has faced some controversy due to the multiple delays for Cyberpunk 2077 in addition to the crunch conditions which were reported by several outlets. They initially blamed the reason for the delay on current-generation consoles in addition to aiming for a higher Metacritic score. The lead QA developer has recently talked about some of the features available in the game including an estimate of his playtime.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be out on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna on December 10.
