Cyberpunk 2077 Physical Copies Are Out In The Wild, First PS4 Gameplay Footage Leaked

Cyberpunk 2077 is out on December 10 and this time the game might end up releasing because there are actual physical copies out in the wild.

As one of the most anticipated games of this year, there has been a lot of hype building around the launch of Cyberpunk 2077. It was supposed to release by November 19 but was delayed at the last minute to December 10. This might be the final delay because physical copies of the game are now out in the wild.

This was first spotted through an image of the physical PS4 copy that was shared on the Cyberpunk 2077 subreddit.

cyberpunk 2077 copy leaked

We were initially skeptical of this being a proper leaked copy but this was then followed by a 20 minutes long gameplay video which we have confirmed as legitimate. It shows Cyberpunk 2077 from its initial opening scene and was running on PS4. This footage was presumably streamed on YouTube but taken down rather quickly with a backup available on Google Drive.

It showed the game’s main menu and started a new game with the character creation where the user picked Nomad lifepath. It then proceeded to the main story with some gameplay footage in both first and third-person. It obviously doesn’t look as great as the pre-release footage that we have seen so far and we assume there will be a large day-one patch for visual polishes and fixes. Regardless, the game is indeed out in the wild so be wary of potential spoilers.

As far as we can tell, there is no day one patch available for the PS4 version so this is allegedly the “Gold’ master copy that was sent to factories before the game was delayed again. Any of the fixes since then will be deployed through a day one update on all platforms.
