Atlus has announced Persona 5 Royal and confirmed details around this new project. This will be an enhanced release of Persona 5 and it is out this year in Japan and 2020 in the West.

Persona 5 Royal is confirmed to be an expanded version of the original game. It won’t be available as a DLC upgrade so it will be sold as a new game. There is a new female main character Kasumi Yoshizawa who is a transfer student. She will partner up with The Phantom Thieves for her own quest.
