The Last of Us Part 2 has been updated to version 1.07 on PS4. Here are the patch notes for this update which should be available now.
The last major update for the game added a free DLC with Grounded difficulty mode. This was in addition to a permadeath mode that tweaked the game so it was a one-hit kill for anyone. Players could customize how the difficulty worked by adjusting the frequency of checkpoints that have to be used to save the game.

While the Grounded difficulty mode was out a while ago, Naughty Dog hasn’t stopped updating the game. The most recent update has patched the game to version 1.07 and it simply appears to implement some bug fixes.
The download size of this update is around 100 MB. If you haven’t downloaded any of the previous updates, the total download size for the full patch is 4.5 GB.

After the launch of the grounded difficulty, Naughty Dog appears to be working on the multiplayer mode which has been leaked with small snippets of gameplay. It has been dubbed as Factions 2.0, which is an improved and iterated multiplayer mode based on the first The Last of Us. Currently, Naughty Dog hasn’t shared any details on when they expect to launch it.

Another recently released games that added multiplayer mode post-launch was Ghost of Tsushima. It has been confirmed to get a multiplayer mode as a free update later this year.
The Last of Us Part 2 is the fastest-selling exclusive for the PS4. It was developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
