Xbox Game Pass Announced For PC, More Xbox One Games Coming To Steam

Microsoft has extended its support for the Xbox Game Pass and announced a new program that will include PC. They are also planning to bring more of their first-party exclusives to the Steam store.

This subscription service is currently only available for the Xbox One with limited support on PC. Microsoft has plans to bring the full capability of the service to PC with the support of first and third-party developers. They announced this new service for PC recently confirming more than 100 high-quality games at the start of the service.

Xbox Game Pass for PC will give players unlimited access to a curated library of over 100 high-quality PC games on Windows 10, from well-known PC game developers and publishers such as Bethesda, Deep Silver, Devolver Digital, Paradox Interactive, SEGA, and more.

As for what games are coming to subscription service, they haven’t shared a list for it yet. According to early reports, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Bundle includes Xbox Game Pass for PC and Xbox One in addition to Xbox Live Gold. Details around this new service will be revealed at the upcoming E3.

Microsoft is also planning to make more of their games get a release on the Steam store. In addition to Halo: The Master Chief Collection, they are bringing Gears of War 5, Age of Empires, 1, 2 and 3 Definitive Edition to Steam. In total, they will add 20 more games to the Steam store in the coming months.

Another important announcement that Microsoft made today was regarding the Win32 support on the Windows Store. This will allows developers to create native Windows32 apps on the Windows Store instead of the Universal Windows Platform program that was used in the past to bring an app to all the Microsoft owned platforms like Mobile, Xbox One, and other devices.
