Ananta is reportedly scheduled to release on January 15, 2027, according to a leaked advertisement on Bilibili. The upcoming free-to-play action RPG is also expected to appear during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, where an official confirmation could potentially be made.

The reported release date has surfaced ahead of the showcase, although it has not yet been officially confirmed by NetEase Games. Ananta is expected to be shown during tonight’s Gamescom Opening Night Live presentation hosted by Geoff Keighley.

Formerly known as Project Mugen, Ananta is being developed by Naked Rain and published by NetEase Games. The game is an urban open-world action RPG featuring an anime-inspired metropolis, high-speed traversal, parkour and party-based combat.

Players take on the role of a supernatural investigator investigating unusual phenomena throughout the city. The game also features vehicles, environmental interactions and NPCs designed to create a more dynamic urban world.

Ananta is set to launch as a free-to-play game, with the release date of January 15, 2027 still pending official confirmation.
