Armored Core 6 Pre-Load Date & Download Size Revealed

The pre-load date and download size for Bandai Namco Entertainment and From Software’s upcoming mecha-based vehicular combat game, Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, have been revealed.

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is now available to pre-load on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and the game’s download size has also been revealed by the Xbox Store and Playstationsize on Twitter. The pre-load is not yet available on PS4 and PS5, however, and those who pre-ordered the game on PlayStation Network will have to wait until closer to launch in order to download it.

As mentioned above, those who have pre-ordered a digital copy of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon can pre-load the game on Xbox platforms starting today on August 10, 2023. The digital pre-load should come with the latest update pre-installed, which is currently version 1.01 on PS4 and version 1.001.000 on PS5. However, given that the pre-load has arrived around two weeks before the game’s release on August 25, 2023, it’s likely that some additional updates will be rolled out prior to launch. Meanwhile, those who pre-ordered Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon on PlayStation platforms will likely get the day one update with the pre-load, which begins closer to the game’s launch on August 23, 2023.

Previously, it was revealed that Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is around 5 times the length of the previous mainline entry in the series, Armored Core V. Fextralife was recently given the opportunity to travel to L.A. to get some hands-on time with Armored Core 6.
