Armored Core 6 Resolution & Frame Rate Revealed For Consoles

The resolution and frame rate for the console versions of Bandai Namco Entertainment and From Software’s Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon have been revealed.

Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has updated its official site with the resolution and frame rate for the PS4, PS4 Pro, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S versions of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon. The mecha-based vehicular combat game will offer a single mode across all consoles.

Additionally, it was suggested that the game will have dynamic resolution scaling in effect on all consoles, since the mentioned resolutions are stated as peak values. This is done so as to keep the frame rate as close as possible to the intended target during GPU heavy scenarios.

Previously, it was revealed that Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is around 5 times the length of the previous mainline entry in the series, Armored Core V. Fextralife was recently given the opportunity to travel to L.A. to get some hands-on time with Armored Core 6. In their video, they shared their impressions regarding the game and what fans can expect when it arrives in store shelves next month on August 25, 2023.
