A new update for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has appeared on the PlayStation backend, suggesting another patch is in the works for Ubisoft’s pirate adventure.

According to PlayStation Game Size, Update 1.005.034 has been added to the PlayStation database. Ubisoft has not announced the update or revealed what changes it will include.

The database listing comes as Ubisoft continues to outline its post-launch plans for the game. In a recent interview with YouTuber JorRaptor, game director Richard Knight confirmed that New Game Plus is officially in development and is one of the team’s highest priorities following launch.

Knight said the mode is already being worked on but explained that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has a different structure from Assassin’s Creed Shadows, meaning additional development is required before it is ready. He also confirmed there is currently no release window for the feature.

The developer also discussed several other community-requested additions being considered. These include Hidden Blade combat, dual Hidden Blade parries, additional combat finishers, mission replay and optional mission objectives. Knight said some of these features would require substantial engineering work because they are not currently supported by the Anvil engine.

For now, the appearance of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Update 1.005.034 on the PlayStation backend is the latest indication that Ubisoft is preparing another update, though its contents remain unknown until the company provides official patch notes.
