Battlefield 6 Update 1.3.1.5 Improves Battle Royale and Respawn Systems

Electronic Arts has announced Battlefield 6 update 1.3.1.5, scheduled to release on May 26 at 08:00 UTC. The quality-of-life update focuses on gameplay consistency, Battle Royale improvements, respawn reliability, and fixes across maps, vehicles, gadgets, Portal, and Ranked modes.

Several frustrating deployment and redeployment bugs have also been addressed, while Battle Royale and Portal menus now provide clearer matchmaking information and progression visibility. A handful of map exploits and objective-related issues have also been fixed in this patch.

Major Updates

  • Fixed multiple issues across Hagental Base, Railway to Golmud, and Portal
  • Improved Battle Royale and Ranked Battle Royale UI systems
  • Fixed several problems preventing players from respawning, redeploying, or deploying on vehicles

Player

  • Improved mounting reliability to prevent players from unexpectedly losing mounted positions
  • Fixed decals failing to appear correctly on certain surfaces

Vehicles

  • Teammates can now deploy on the AH-6 LittleBird while the gunner seat is occupied

Gadgets

MTN-55 Proximity Detector

  • Improved enemy spotting reliability in certain situations

Maps & Modes

Hagental Base

  • Fixed an exploit allowing players to leave the intended combat area using the Assault Ladder

General

  • Players can now respawn and redeploy correctly after being eliminated while the “Edit Loadout” screen is open

Railway to Golmud

  • Adjusted an Escalation spawn point near Objective B to prevent players spawning high above the map
  • Fixed floating debris remaining after house destruction near Objective E in Conquest
  • Fixed Objective D in Conquest being capturable from communications tower rooftops
  • Fixed a placeholder Battle Royale loading screen image appearing unexpectedly

Portal

  • Updated the “Portal Next – Complex 3” description in Maps & Modes filters

Competitive

  • Players can now select visual customizations while inside the lobby
  • Added clearer matchmaking messaging when Ranked Battle Royale parties have rank differences that prevent matchmaking
  • Updated Placement Rank Points rewards on the Rules and Points page to reflect recent balance changes
  • Improved Ranked Points counter behavior after reaching 999 Ranked Points

Weapons

L115 Sniper Rifle

  • Fixed the weapon model disappearing after the player is revived

Battlefield 6 launched worldwide on October 10, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Developed collaboratively by DICE, Motive, Criterion, and Ripple Effect and published by Electronic Arts, the military shooter returns the franchise to a modern setting with traditional class-based gameplay, 64-player battles, and large-scale destruction systems.
