Twitter/X user ignusthewise, who is known for their sources within the game industry, has some brand new details to share regarding the upcoming action role-playing game. According to them, Black Myth: Wukong will offer a New Game Plus mode at launch and will feature over 80 bosses. They also revealed that the game will include multiple endings, though it wasn’t specified just how many. They decided to publicly share this information before pre-orders go live. We’re guessing this is because what they have shared will likely be promoted as part of Black Myth: Wukong’s storefront marketing.

Furthermore, the Twitter/X insider shared that Black Myth: Wukong will feature more than 160 enemy types, suggesting that it will offer a diverse set of combat encounters. They also mentioned that the game is slightly easier in terms of difficulty compared to FromSoftware’s titles like Dark Souls and Bloodborne.

As for when Black Myth: Wukong’s pre-orders will go live, the insider speculated that developer Game Science will likely wait until the forthcoming Summer Game Fest 2024 or a major games-related event in the West, such as a PlayStation Showcase or Xbox Showcase event, in order to announce the availability of pre-orders.

Players will set out as the Destined One to venture into the challenges and marvels ahead, to uncover the obscured truth beneath the veil of a glorious legend from the past.
