Raw Fury used this year’s PC Gaming Show to unveil a new entry in the Cassette Beasts franchise while also confirming a release date for the upcoming sci-fi puzzle game Rivage.

Developed by Bytten Studio, Cassette Beasts 2002 has officially been announced as the next installment in the monster-collecting RPG series that debuted in 2023. The game is currently in development for PC via Steam and Windows, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. While a release window has not yet been revealed, Raw Fury said additional details will be shared in the coming months.

Set in Nodnol, a setting inspired by early 2000s London, Cassette Beasts 2002 follows players as they investigate an occult conspiracy in a world where humans and monsters coexist. Players will be able to transform into more than 250 different creatures while exploring the game’s story and taking part in turn-based battles.

The sequel expands on the original game’s combat systems, allowing players to record creatures they encounter and transform into them during battle. The game also introduces a large fusion system, with Raw Fury stating that players can combine monster forms to create more than 50,000 unique animated combinations.

Outside of combat, players will meet 12 companions throughout the adventure, each featuring their own storylines, quests, and relationship options. Strengthening bonds with these characters will unlock additional fusion possibilities and new battle opportunities.

Multiplayer is also returning with a range of features, including cassette trading, cooperative encounters, competitive 1v1 battles with power scaling, story progression alongside friends, and timed challenges offering special rewards.

Alongside the Cassette Beasts announcement, Raw Fury and developer Exnilo Studio confirmed that Rivage will launch for PC via Steam on August 13, 2026.

Rivage is a first-person sci-fi puzzle adventure that places players in the role of Miranda, a crew member attempting to uncover what happened aboard the A.R.E.S. station after a mysterious cosmic event disrupts reality itself. As Miranda investigates the station, players will solve puzzles and gather clues to learn the fate of the missing crew.

According to Raw Fury, the space station serves as a fully interactive environment filled with artifacts, research materials, and personal records that help tell the story of those who once lived there. The narrative focuses on piecing together the relationships and experiences of the crew through journals, logs, and hidden messages scattered throughout the station.

The game’s puzzles are closely tied to the unfolding mystery, requiring players to repair damaged systems, manipulate environmental mechanisms, and overcome challenges involving gravity, magnetism, and time-based distortions. Rivage also includes a K9 System designed to track discoveries and preserve certain puzzle solutions, reducing the need to revisit previously completed tasks.
