CD Projekt Red Announces Special Witcher 3: Blood and Wine Anniversary Livestream

by Ali Haider

CD Projekt Red has announced a special anniversary livestream dedicated to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s Blood and Wine expansion.

The broadcast is scheduled for May 28 at 5 PM CEST and will feature Kacper Niepokólczycki and Magdalena Zych as the studio revisits Toussaint, the setting of the critically acclaimed expansion. In its announcement, CD Projekt Red described the duchy as “the land of love and wine” while inviting fans to “return once more to the land of knights, vineyards, and vampires.”

The livestream will air through the official CD Projekt Red YouTube and Twitch channels. The studio has not yet confirmed whether the stream will include announcements beyond the anniversary celebration itself.

Originally released in 2016, Blood and Wine served as the final major expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The DLC introduced the vibrant region of Toussaint, a stark contrast to the war-torn landscapes of the base game, while centering its story around a series of murders tied to an ancient vampire conspiracy.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt first launched in 2015 and remains one of CD Projekt Red’s most successful titles. The RPG follows Geralt of Rivia as he searches for his adopted daughter Ciri while confronting the supernatural threat of the Wild Hunt across a massive open-world setting.
