Remedy Entertainment has revealed the official PC system requirements for Control Resonant ahead of the game’s release on September 24, 2026. The requirements cover five hardware configurations, ranging from the minimum 1080p target to a path tracing enthusiast specification targeting 4K at 60 FPS.
The minimum configuration targets 1080p at 30 FPS using the Low graphics preset and Quality upscaling. It requires an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT or Intel Arc A580 with 6 GB of VRAM, alongside an Intel Core i5-8500 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500 and 16 GB of RAM.
The recommended configuration targets 1440p at 60 FPS with the Performance graphics preset. This setup calls for an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT or Intel Arc B580, with 8 GB of VRAM. The CPU requirement is an Intel Core i7-10700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X.
For players targeting 4K, the Enthusiast configuration recommends an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT with 10 GB of VRAM. This tier uses the Quality graphics preset and targets 60 FPS at 2160p.
Ray Tracing Requirements
The ray tracing minimum configuration targets 1080p at 30 FPS and requires an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super, AMD Radeon RX 6600 or Intel Arc A580. The configuration requires 8 GB of VRAM and an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X.
The ray tracing recommended specification targets 1440p at 60 FPS. Players will need an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 9070 with 10 GB of VRAM, paired with an Intel Core i7-10700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X.
The highest listed configuration is the Path Tracing Enthusiast specification, which targets 2160p at 60 FPS. This tier requires an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 with 12 GB of VRAM and the same Intel Core i7-10700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU combination.
All configurations require 16 GB of RAM, Windows 10 or Windows 11 64-bit and 120 GB of SSD storage.
Control Resonant will also support NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 and AMD FSR 4.1 upscaling and frame generation, along with ray tracing, path tracing, uncapped frame rates, NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, HDR and ultra-wide displays. Remedy states that frame generation was not used when testing the listed configurations.
Control Resonant is an action role-playing game developed and self-published by Remedy Entertainment. It is scheduled to launch on September 24, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with a macOS version also planned.
