Pearl Abyss has announced that Crimson Desert has surpassed 6 million copies sold worldwide, marking a significant milestone for the open-world action-adventure game.

The news was shared through the game’s official social media account, which thanked players for their continued support. “Crimson Desert has sold through over 6 million copies worldwide,” the company stated. “Your adventures and tales continue to make the journey of Crimson Desert even more special. Once again, thank you to every Greymane who has stepped into Pywel and experienced the world of Crimson Desert in their own way.”

The achievement comes less than three months after the game’s release on March 19, 2026. Developed and published by Pearl Abyss, Crimson Desert launched for Windows PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and macOS.

Set on the medieval fantasy continent of Pywel, the game follows mercenary leader Kliff as he navigates a land thrown into turmoil following the collapse of royal authority. Throughout the adventure, players explore a vast open world while searching for allies, protecting a mysterious artifact, and attempting to reunite a scattered mercenary faction after a devastating attack.

The strong sales performance represents a major success for Pearl Abyss and suggests that Crimson Desert has found a sizable audience across its available platforms. With more than 6 million copies sold worldwide, the title has quickly established itself as one of 2026’s notable commercial successes.
