Pearl Abyss has released Crimson Desert update 1.08.00, bringing a large batch of new gameplay features, quality-of-life improvements, combat adjustments, and bug fixes. The patch introduces new pond systems, additional pets, expanded mount functionality, and a dedicated tool equipment slot alongside a huge list of fixes across gameplay, UI, graphics, and controls.
One of the standout additions is the Baby Wyvern pet, which will eventually become mountable in a future update. Players can also build ponds, release fish into them, and interact with expanded pet systems. Meanwhile, PC and Mac users gain new graphics options including ray-traced shadows and multiple rendering fixes.

Tool Slot System
- Added a dedicated tool equipment slot

Crimson Desert launched globally on March 19, 2026, for PC, macOS, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
