Cyberpunk 2077: Here’s What Happens To V In Bed After Sleeping
Cyberpunk 2077 has had one of the most buggy and broken releases of any game this entire generation, and to say that the title is in an unfinished state would be putting it kindly. But people online have still been enjoying the game so far, even if it’s not in the way the developers intended.
The bugs in Cyberpunk 2077 are a comedy goldmine, and the game has unintentionally been the subject of countless jokes and memes over the past month. Some of these are harsh, while others are just plain comical.
One particular issue that has been making the rounds recently is how our protagonist sleeps in the game.
V doesn’t just climb into bed normally and put their head on the pillow, they just sort of lay down sideways in an extremely uncomfortable pose. So upon seeing this, most people naturally presumed that this was just another one of the many different bugs in the game.
Now, a new Cyberpunk 2077 third-person mod has shed some new light on the issue.
Cyberpunk 2077 Third-Person Mod Sleep View
Apparently, it seems that this isn’t a glitch after all. V just has an absolutely atrocious sleeping posture.
The video in the Reddit post above shows how from a 3rd person view, the character actually climbs into bed and positions themselves sideways. It looks akin to how someone who’s utterly exhausted, or drunk, would just collapse into bed as quickly and carelessly as possible.
There’s an entire animated sequence of V climbing into and getting out of the bed as well, so we can confirm for a fact that at least this part of the game is not a bug.
It’s funny that our main character sleeps in such an awkward way, but it’s also a weirdly specific design choice that the developers seem to have actively made.
