The official website for the game has been updated to add a section that explains the future update and DLC roadmap for the game. It also gives a release window for when Cyberpunk 2077 will get a proper next-generation patch for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
“For those who are playing the game on next-gen consoles via backwards compatibility, we are planning the free, next-gen update for Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox Series consoles, and PlayStation 5, this year. We’re aiming for the second half of the year and we’ll reveal more when we have more to share, ” reads the FAQ that was posted on the official website.
Here’s a roadmap shared by CD Projekt Red for Cyberpunk 2077.
As for the next update, which will be presumably Cyberpunk 1.1 patch, it is planned to release in the next 10 days. CD Projekt Red is also delaying the release of the free DLC for the game in order to focus on the updates and patches that will improve the quality of the game.
CD Projekt Red is also working with Sony to get the game back to the PlayStation Store but they haven’t given a timeline on when the game will be back.
