by Ali Haider

Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5 content has reportedly leaked ahead of its October 22, 2026 release, with YouTuber Wes Nemo outlining a range of potential additions, including new Edgerunners 2 content, dual-wielding pistols, and a field of view (FOV) option on consoles. The details remain unconfirmed and should be treated as a rumour until CD Projekt Red officially reveals the patch notes.

According to the video, the update could introduce a new perk called Double Trouble in the Cool skill tree, allowing V to wield two pistols at once. The reported additions also include a new gig called Clampdown tied to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2, alongside a mystery side quest involving a Night City tour.

The update could also add five new clothing sets, a radio station featuring music from Edgerunners, and Glamdocs that allow players to customise their arm cyberware. New hairstyles for both male and female versions of V are also mentioned.

Other reported additions include Quadra vehicle skins distributed through Twitch Drops and built-in Mod.io support across major platforms, excluding Nintendo Switch 2. There is also a field of view setting for console players.

CD Projekt Red previously teased Update 2.5 through the official Cyberpunk 2077 account on X, confirming an October 22, 2026 release date and highlighting an official illustration created for the Edgerunners 2 update.
