Capcom has announced that Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, bringing the acclaimed action title to Nintendo’s latest platform with performance enhancements and bundled content.
The Nintendo Switch 2 release includes the full Devil May Cry 5 experience alongside the Vergil playable character DLC. Players will be able to take control of Nero, Dante, V, and Vergil as they battle through the game’s demon-filled campaign using each character’s distinct combat style, weapons, and abilities. Capcom also confirmed that the package includes additional bonus content such as alternate costume colors, taunts, and battle tracks.
Performance details were also shared as part of the announcement. Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition will run at 60 frames per second in both TV and handheld modes, offering a consistent experience whether players are docked or playing on the go.
The digital version of the game is scheduled to launch on June 23, 2026. Players who pre-order the game or purchase it digitally by July 31, 2026 will be eligible for an early adopter price of $29.99. After the promotional period ends, the title will be sold at its standard MSRP of $39.99.
With its high-frame-rate gameplay and included DLC content, DMC5 Devil Hunter Edition aims to deliver the complete demon-slaying experience for Nintendo Switch 2 owners later this month.
