Bandai Namco has announced a new Digimon Story Time Stranger expansion called A Hero’s Eternal Legacy, which is scheduled to launch in 2027. The expansion will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch and PC.
A Hero’s Eternal Legacy takes place 3 years after the events of Digimon Story Time Stranger, following the battle between the Agents and the Olympos XII that saved both the human world and Iliad, the game’s digital world.
The expansion will introduce a new hero and focus on a fresh adventure built around themes of courage and friendship. Players will explore previously unseen areas of Iliad as they embark on the new journey.
More than 50 new Digimon will also be introduced as part of the expansion, giving players a substantial new roster of creatures to encounter during the adventure.
Digimon Story Time Stranger is the latest RPG in the Digimon Story series, allowing players to travel through time and space, form bonds with Digimon and work to prevent the destruction of both the human world and Iliad.
A Hero’s Eternal Legacy is scheduled to release in 2027 for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch and PC.
