Bandai Namco has released a new Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 trailer showcasing the game’s character creation system and introducing a new playable Android race. The action RPG is scheduled to launch in 2027 for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC via Steam.

The new “Fight Your Own Way” trailer focuses on the options available when creating a custom fighter. Players will be able to choose between 6 races: Earthling, Saiyan, Namekian, Frieza Race, Majin and the newly introduced Android.

Character customisation extends beyond appearance, with players able to inherit techniques from Super Fighters and build their combat style around the movement and abilities of 130 different heroes. These choices will influence how each custom character develops throughout the game.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is set in the previously unexplored era of AGE 1000, introducing a new setting and story within the Dragon Ball universe. Players will travel through West City, where new events begin to unfold as they become involved with the Great Saiya Squad.

The game will allow players to fight alongside familiar Dragon Ball heroes while investigating a series of mysterious events. Bandai Namco says the story will introduce a new world, characters and future for players to explore.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is being presented as a story-driven action RPG in which players can create their own fighter and determine how they approach the challenges ahead. Further details about the game are expected to be revealed in the coming months.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 will launch in 2027 for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC via Steam.
