Dragon Ball Z Kakarot has been updated to version 1.21. This update has been released ahead of the Card Battle DLC that has been teased earlier this Summer.
Bandai Namco has remained silent on any potential updates for Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. The game comes with a season pass but only one DLC has been released for it so far, and the second DLC, which has been teased to be Card Battle, is not out as of yet.
Last week, it was revealed in Weekly Shonen V Jump that the game will get Card Battle in the next update. As the update launched today, it was expected that this patch might add Card Battles to the game, but this is unfortunately not the case.
The download size of this update is 250 MB on PS4 and just 64 MB on Steam so this is a minor hotfix and the patch notes also confirm it.
The patch notes mention adjustments have been made but there is no confirmation on what has been fixed in the game with this update. It could be in preparation of the upcoming Card Battle DLC.
DB Z Kakarot is a brand new action RPG from Bandai Namco. It was released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 16, 2020.
