EA Sports FC Mobile 27 is now available, introducing the new Gauntlet Mode, Game Plans, two new PlayStyles and a refreshed visual presentation. The new season update also adds gameplay improvements designed to give players more control over their squads and matches.
Gauntlet Mode is a new PvE experience that challenges players to progress through a series of matches while managing their squad. Player appearance limits encourage squad rotation, while objectives and match modifiers require players to consider which players they use for each challenge.
Game Plans give players greater tactical control before and during supported matches. Players can create up to four combinations of formations and five mentalities, ranging from Ultra Defensive and Defensive through Balanced and Attacking to Ultra Attacking. These plans can then be switched during matches to respond to the action.
Two new PlayStyles have also been added:
- Incisive Through Pass: More accurate leading ground through passes
- Dead Ball: Revamped free kicks with increased bend and precision for players with the required attributes and PlayStyle
The update also refreshes the game’s visual presentation, including the gameplay HUD, loading screens and player indicators.
The FC Mobile Anniversary Event is launching alongside the new season as a month-long celebration featuring 10 chapters. It brings back features from the previous year, including Team of the Year upgrades, Team of the Season tag combinations and the Bernabéu Stadium, alongside new rewards.
MLS action will also return to the game on October 10, when Vancouver Whitecaps FC face Los Angeles Football Club at 7:30 PM PT / 10:30 PM ET. The match will be available as a live in-game simulcast through the FCM TV portal.
