Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree Expansion Release Date Leaked Via Online Retailer
An online retailer in the Philippines may have been leaked the release date for the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree expansion for Elden Ring.
Retailer DataBlitz had posted a page to promote a collaboration between FromSoftware’s action role-playing game and gaming accessories manufacturer, Thrustmaster. The promo mentions that the launch of the new eSwap controller is synced with the with the release date of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree in the month of February, 2024. There was also mention the possibility of another DLC expansion or some “keybeat” for the game in 2025. The promo has since been removed, though a screenshot of it can be seen below.
Recently, Twitter user and YouTuber Ziostorm, who shares Elden Ring related content, had mentioned that, based on what they’ve heard from their sources, Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree is set for release on February 5, 2024.That said, they did mention that their sources are unverified, therefore we urge our readers to take the information with a grain of salt. However, this is in line with what retailer DataBlitz had advertised in its promo, so there may be some truth to it after all. In its earnings results for the 2nd Quarter Ended September 30, 2023, FromSoftware parent company Kadokawa has shared that a release window for the expansion has yet to be announced, though development is proceeding smoothly.
