Asha Sharma has teased the name of The Elder Scrolls VI while praising the game’s scale and story following a live playthrough. Sharma shared the comments on social media, with the game’s title obscured in her post.
“Live playthrough of The Elder Scrolls VI: ******** this morning. The scale and grandeur are incredible. The story is even greater,” Sharma wrote.
Bethesda Game Studios also appeared to respond to the comments, saying, “It was great being able to show you ********. Thank you for the kind words and a wonderful visit.”
The exchange has drawn attention because the obscured text appears where the game’s name would normally be, but neither post reveals the actual title. As a result, there is currently no confirmed information about what subtitle or name Bethesda may use for the long-awaited sequel.
The Elder Scrolls VI has been in development at Bethesda Game Studios since its announcement in 2018. The game still does not have a firm release date, although development has reportedly moved forward following the completion of Starfield.
Bethesda previously confirmed that the game will use new technology within Creation Engine 2. The studio is continuing work on the project while undergoing broader organisational changes.
Sharma’s comments provide another indication that people outside the core development team have been able to see the game in a playable state. However, Bethesda has yet to announce a release window or provide further official details about the project.
