Much like every other month, the Epic Games Store will offer a weekly lineup of free games for March, 2025. This article discusses all the rumored and confirmed available games.
As is usually the case, a free game or two are given away as part of the platform’s weekly promotion. This month’s games will be available on the Epic Games Store starting from March 6, 2025. Those who’d like to grab them should be mindful of the duration of their availability. The Store is set to offer 2 mystery games as part of its giveaway on March 27, 2025. Both titles will be revealed when the giveaway starts at 4 PM UTC.
March 2025 Free Games On Epic Games Store

- From March 6 to March 13, 2025: Them’s Fightin’ Herds
- From March 13 to March 20, 2025: Mortal Shell
- From March 20 to March 27, 2025: Jurassic World Evolution 2

One of this month’s freebies, Them’s Fightin’ Herds, is an indie fighting game developed by Mane6 and published by Modus Games. It was first launched in early access in February 2018, with a full release on April 30, 2020, for Microsoft Windows. It later became available for Linux on March 25, 2021, followed by a beta macOS version on October 27, 2021. The game later expanded to consoles with a release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 18, 2022.
Another freebie offered this month is Mortal Shell, an action role-playing game created by Cold Symmetry and published by Playstack. Initially launched on August 18, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows, the game later received a remastered version, Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition, which arrived on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on March 4, 2021, and on Amazon Luna on November 18, 2021. A Complete Edition, featuring all DLC, was released for Nintendo Switch on December 19, 2022.
This week’s free game is Jurassic World Evolution 2, a construction and management simulation game developed and published by Frontier Developments. It was released on November 9, 2021, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
