A new datamine of SNK and KOF Studio’s 2025 fighting game, Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves, has possibly revealed upcoming DLC characters.
Newly discovered win quotes for Rick Strowd (via heavenstardrive on Reddit) appear to reference possible DLC characters for Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves, who have not been mentioned in prior leaks. Based on the apparent ordering of the dialogue, which isn’t necessarily representative of the order in which they’ll be added to the roster, it is speculated that both Xiangfei and a character who apparently uses water, likely Panni, one of Laocorn’s associates, could arrive relatively soon, potentially as part of Season 4.
The datamine reportedly contains several other references involving Rick. One character is described as someone who can “make things windy,” which the leaker believes is likely Alfred, a character already hinted at in previous leaks. Another is described as someone who “can really punch,” suggesting that it may be Draken.
A further dialogue entry describes Rick facing someone who is unlike any boxer he has encountered before and characterizes the encounter as a “battle of the minds.” Based on the dialogue, it is speculated that the character may be White.
The datamine also appears to contain a clue regarding one of the game’s guest characters. According to the datamine, PL03, possibly Mikey, appears to be programmed with an additional costume. The character reportedly has an extended PL structure similar to Rock, Preecha, Kain, Ken and Chun-Li.
The leak also revealed that previously identified release orders and character totals may have changed, possibly because some characters are no longer visible in the current game files. It is speculated that fan feedback could also influence SNK’s future DLC plans.
Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves was released on April 24, 2025, across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X|S. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is set for launch on October 22, 2026.
