Square Enix has confirmed its Tokyo Game Show 2026 lineup, with Final Fantasy VII Revelation among the games that will be playable at the company’s booth. The upcoming conclusion to the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy will have a playable demo available throughout the event.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation is scheduled to release on April 8, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. Its appearance at TGS 2026 will give attendees an opportunity to play the game several months before its launch.

The Square Enix booth will also feature photo spots based on Final Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Final Fantasy VII Revelation. An exclusive Final Fantasy VII Revelation and Final Fantasy XIV bag will also be available during the general admission days.

Other Playable Square Enix Games

Final Fantasy Resonance will also have a playable demo at the Square Enix booth. The game is scheduled to launch on October 22, 2026, across Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World will be represented at the event with a Fluffy Meet and Greet, while Dragon Quest VII Reimagined will have a playable demo at the Family Game Park in TKP Tokyo Bay Makuhari Hall during the general admission days.

The wider Square Enix lineup includes Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold, Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition, Kingdom Hearts Collection I to III, Kingdom Hearts IV, Dragon Quest X Online, Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest Smash/Grow.

Kingdom Hearts IV, however, is not listed among the playable demos or activities. It is included as part of Square Enix’s trailer wall lineup, with the game currently scheduled for late 2027.

Final Fantasy VII Revelation will be one of the main playable attractions at the Square Enix booth when Tokyo Game Show 2026 takes place.
