Gears of War: E-Day PC Requirements Revealed, Requiring Up to 16 GB RAM and 130 GB SSD Storage

The Coalition and Xbox Game Studios have released the official PC system requirements for Gears of War: E-Day, giving players a clearer idea of the hardware needed ahead of the game’s launch on October 6, 2026.

According to the published specifications, the minimum requirements call for Windows 10 64-bit version 22H2, an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, Intel Core i7-6850K, or Intel Core i5-10400 processor, 12 GB of RAM, and a graphics card equivalent to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050, RTX 2060, AMD Radeon RX 6600, Radeon RX 9060, or Intel Arc A580. Players will also need 130 GB of available SSD storage.

For a recommended experience, the developers suggest Windows 11 version 25H2 or newer, an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 or Intel Core i5-11600K processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a GPU such as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060, RTX 3060 Ti, AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, Radeon RX 9060 XT, or Intel Arc B580. The storage requirement remains unchanged at 130 GB on an SSD.

Gears of War: E-Day is set fourteen years before the events of the original Gears of War and follows a younger Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago during the Locust Horde’s first invasion of Sera. The third-person shooter launches on October 6, 2026, for Xbox Series X/S and Windows PC.
