GTA 6 Credits Reportedly Last Over 80 Minutes, More Than Double the Length of Previous Rockstar Games

Grand Theft Auto VI reportedly features an ending credits sequence lasting more than 80 minutes, making it considerably longer than those of Rockstar Games’ previous major releases. The information comes from an exclusive report by Moon Media, although the claimed GTA 6 credits length has not been independently verified.

If accurate, the credits would run for more than twice as long as those in Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2, reflecting the scale of Rockstar’s latest project.

For comparison, Grand Theft Auto V features an ending credits sequence lasting approximately 35 to 40 minutes. Red Dead Redemption 2, which launched in 2018, has a slightly shorter sequence running around 30 to 35 minutes.

An 80-minute credits sequence would represent a substantial increase over both games, potentially reflecting the number of people involved in developing Grand Theft Auto VI.

Rockstar’s development teams have grown considerably over the years. Grand Theft Auto V involved more than 1,000 developers working across multiple studios, while Red Dead Redemption 2 brought together the company’s global workforce into a unified development effort involving approximately 1,600 to 2,000 developers.

Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be Rockstar’s largest production yet, with thousands of developers reportedly contributing to the project across all 10 of the company’s internal studios worldwide.

The game has also been in development over a multi-year production cycle, with teams spread across different locations working on the upcoming release.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch worldwide on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
