Halloween The Game Patch 1.1.0 is set to release on October 6, bringing the game’s first Quality of Life update. The patch focuses on crash fixes, performance improvements, NPC behaviour, map issues, challenges, UI changes, and gameplay balance.
The update will also introduce several balance changes intended to slow down the pace of matches, alongside adjustments to Storm Cellar Escapes and the Pocket Knife. The developer says the preview is not comprehensive, with full patch notes planned for the update’s release.
Crash Fixes
- Fixed several crashes affecting players using specific AMD hardware.
- Fixed several crashes occurring during Story Mode.
- Fixed several crashes occurring during execution cinematics.
- Added many other crash fixes across all platforms.
Performance Improvements
- Added many performance improvements across all platforms.
NPC Improvements
- Improved NPC navigation and behaviour.
- Players who respawn as a Cop can now interact with Residents.
- Added other NPC improvements and fixes.
Map Improvements
- Improved and fixed various collision issues.
- Improved and fixed various item pickup issues.
- Improved player spawn locations.
- Improved Stalk line of sight in various locations.
- Added other Map improvements and fixes.
Challenges and Achievements
- Added various fixes for Challenges.
- Added various fixes for Achievements and Trophies.
UI Improvements
- Story Mode Challenges now display a notification when a challenge is failed.
- Added an option to toggle Spectator Minigames.
- Added other UI improvements and fixes.
Balance Changes
- Added several balance changes intended to slow down the pace of matches.
- Made changes to Storm Cellar Escapes.
- Adjusted the Pocket Knife.

Halloween The Game is an asymmetrical multiplayer survival horror title developed by IllFonic and published by IllFonic Publishing alongside Gun Interactive for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Patch 1.1.0 is scheduled to release on October 6, 2026.
