Xbox has revealed the official PC hardware requirements for Halo: Campaign Evolved, providing players with a detailed look at the specifications needed across multiple graphical presets ahead of the game’s launch on July 28, 2026.
According to the Xbox Store listing, players targeting 1080p at 60 FPS will need either an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7-10700K processor, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super, AMD Radeon RX 6600, or Intel Arc A580. The minimum specification also calls for 16 GB of RAM and 8 GB of VRAM.
For 1440p at 60 FPS, the requirements increase to an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X or Intel Core i5-12600K alongside an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT. Players will still need 16 GB of RAM and 8 GB of VRAM at this preset.
The recommended specification for 4K at 60 FPS includes an AMD Ryzen 7 7700 or Intel Core i7-12700K paired with either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 9070. This configuration requires 32 GB of RAM and 12 GB of VRAM.
At the Ultra preset, Xbox recommends an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X or Intel Core i9-13900K alongside an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080. The highest-end configuration also requires 32 GB of RAM and 16 GB of VRAM.
Regardless of preset, Halo: Campaign Evolved requires Windows 10 22H2 64-bit or Windows 11, an SSD with 100 GB of available storage space, and recommends support for Resizable BAR. The Xbox Store listing also confirms support for ray tracing, though specific details regarding the implementation have not yet been announced.
Halo: Campaign Evolved is being developed by Halo Studios and published by Xbox Game Studios. Built in Unreal Engine 5, the remake reimagines the original Halo: Combat Evolved while introducing modernized visuals, gameplay enhancements, and new story content centered on a secret operation that takes place before the events of the 2001 classic.
