Horizon Forbidden West Leaks Online, Screenshots and Gameplay Settings Menu Posted

Horizon Forbidden West has leaked online earlier than the official release date and screenshots from the game are now appearing on social media.

Horizon Forbidden West will be out on February 18, 2022 The game is coming to both PS4 and PS5. While the launch is not until a whole month after, some of the screenshots from the game have started to appear online on various social media platforms while the source appears to be someone from Russia.

It is unclear how the source gained access to the game more than a month earlier, but there is some speculation that this might be running on a Jailbroken PS4 where someone managed to snag a gold copy of the game and was able to play it.

Regardless, there are two off-screen screenshots available right now along with a screenshot that appears to showcase the settings menu for Horizon Forbidden West.

Since Sony is strict when it comes to posting such leaks, these images have been taken down but an archive can be found on the Resetera forums. A screenshot was shared for the game settings menu as well. This appears to confirm that they will be a graphics mode available on the PS4 as well.

Based on the screenshot, the following options are confirmed to be a part of the game settings in Horizon Forbidden West.

  • Camera Positioning
  • Motion Blur
  • Camera Shake
  • Underwater Camera Shake
  • Climbing Annonations Always On
  • Focus Highlight Duration
  • Colorblind Mode

Graphics mode appears to offer either a 4K mode or a Performance mode although that was supposed to be available for the PS5, it might be included for the PS4 Pro as well if these allegedly leaked screenshots are from the PS4 version.

Horizon Forbidden West will be released on February 18, 2022, for the PS4 and PS5. The game was recently rated by IMDA which also revealed some interesting insights.
