LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is an open-world action-adventure game developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Games. Designed as a celebration of Batman’s legacy, the game follows Bruce Wayne’s transformation from his early beginnings into Gotham City’s legendary protector.

Unlike previous LEGO titles that featured extremely large playable rosters, this installment adopts a more focused approach with seven central characters: Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Jim Gordon, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul. Each character comes equipped with specialized gadgets, traversal mechanics, and combat abilities tailored to their role in the story.

Gameplay draws significant inspiration from the Batman: Arkham franchise, particularly through its freeflow combat system and darker interpretation of Gotham City. Players will explore a large LEGO recreation of Gotham using vehicles such as the Batmobile alongside traversal tools like grappling hooks and gliding mechanics. The game will also feature encounters against several iconic villains, including The Joker, Bane, and Ra’s al Ghul.
