LEGO Party has received an ESRB rating for Nintendo Switch 2, marking another step towards the game’s release on Nintendo’s latest console.
The rating lists the game for Nintendo Switch 2 with an Everyone classification, citing Comic Mischief and Mild Fantasy Violence. According to the ESRB summary, players compete in a LEGO-themed game show to collect the most golden bricks by taking part in a variety of minigames.
The rating describes several activities featuring mild cartoon violence, including jousting with lances, avoiding bombs while knocking opponents from platforms, and dodging attacks from a giant squid. It also mentions cartoony enemies using fire blasts, laser beams and smash attacks.
The ESRB summary also references the game’s comedic humour, including a sequence in which a player is launched from the rear of a cat-shaped rocket, alongside jokes from the game’s hosts that include bathroom humour.
LEGO Party was previously confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2, although a release date has yet to be announced. Publisher Fictions has also confirmed that existing owners of the game will receive a free upgrade to the Switch 2 version.
Developed by SMG Studio, LEGO Party originally launched on September 30, 2025, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The party game supports up to four players locally or online and features more than 60 minigames set across LEGO-themed boards inspired by franchises including LEGO NINJAGO, LEGO Space and LEGO Pirates.
