The developers of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls have outlined a series of PC improvements and fixes that will be available at launch after gathering feedback from the game’s Open Beta over the weekend.

In a message shared on the game’s official X account, the team thanked players who participated in the test and said the beta had provided valuable feedback ahead of release. “What a weekend! Thank you to everyone who jumped into the Open Beta and joined the fight. This is exactly why we run these, to get the game in your hands and find what we can make better before launch.”

The studio acknowledged reports from PC players and confirmed that several fixes are already in development for day one. These include reducing overall CPU usage to improve performance, fixing frame rate drops and lag, resolving an issue causing unnecessary shader compilation at startup, improving compatibility with OBS and Discord while streaming, and addressing rollback netcode and cross-play issues.

The developers also said they are working on additional fixes for other issues reported during the beta. “Every match you played taught us something, and we’re heads down making sure #MARVELTokon: Fighting Souls delivers at launch and beyond.”

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls launches on August 6 for PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. Developed by Arc System Works and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, the 2.5D tag-team fighter features teams of Marvel heroes and villains battling in four-character matches with assist mechanics and arena transitions.
