Twitter/X user sociedadexmen has shared findings from a recent datamine of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls game files, revealing a possible list of DLC characters set to be added to the roster of fighters. This includes Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, The Thing, and more.

Another datamined game file indicates the existence of unique character tag-in interactions between Loki and both Gambit and The Thing during matches, as already seen for other characters on the base roster.
The future addition of Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing to Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls’ roster doesn’t particularly comes as a surprise, as the premise for having 4v4 battles in the game’s story mode is to allow all members of the Fantastic Four to participate together. However, it remains to be seen whether all 4 of them will be made available as part of a single season’s DLC or spread across multiple seasons.
It was recently revealed that Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls was apparently planned for a Fall 2026 release at one point. This detail is mentioned in issue #1 of the Marvel Tokon: First Strike, the tie-in comic book series, released on August 5, 2026, a day ahead of the game’s release. The promotional material included in the comic strongly suggests that a Fall 2026 launch was the original plan. The evidence comes from a short message present in the issue. The comic tells readers that Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will arrive “this Fall.” However, the 4v4 tag-team fighter was ultimately released on August 6, 2026, at least a month before the period of September to November.
