Insomniac Games has detailed all major upgrades for Marvel’s Spider-Man for the PS5. It will be released along Miles Morales expansion on November 12.
There was some confusion on the nature of the upgrades offered in Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, however, this has been cleared by Insomniac Games on their official Twitter account.
As we have reported earlier, the game won’t be available as a free upgrade for those who already own the original on their PS4. It is only part of the Miles Morales Ultimate Edition on PS5.
Today, Insomniac Games has shed further light on the nature of the upgrades also confirming that it will come with a 60 FPS performance mode, just like in Miles Morales.
“Many art assets have been updated to take advantage of the PS5 console’s horsepower. “Optional performance mode for a targeted 60fps frame rate. Near-instant loading, 3D audio, DualSense controller’s haptic feedback. Three suits, new photo mode features, and even new trophies.”
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will be out on November 12. It won’t be available as a separate physical release. It will come bundled in with the Ultimate Edition of Miles Morales and a code has to be redeemed to claim it. The file size of this Ultimate Edition is massive as found on the official PlayStation Store.
Miles Morales will also get two new suits as a pre-order bonus. One of these is the T.R.A.C.K suit while the other has yet to be revealed. Insomniac Games is also adding three new suits to the original Marvel’s Spider-Man for PS5.
