Meccha Chameleon has surpassed 5 million copies sold, developer Lemorion_1224 has announced.

Sharing the milestone with players, the developer said, “Thank you for reaching 5 million copies in sales!”

Alongside the sales achievement, Lemorion_1224 confirmed that additional content is on the way. According to the announcement, “A new official map and new game options will be added in the near future.”

Released on Steam for Windows on June 10, 2026, Meccha Chameleon is a casual multiplayer hide-and-seek game that pits hiders against seekers across a variety of maps.

Players on the hiding team must quickly find a suitable location before a timer expires, using paint tools to blend into their surroundings by matching colours and textures. The goal is to remain unnoticed while adopting poses that help disguise their presence. Meanwhile, the seeking team must search the environment and identify the concealed players.

The game has proven to be a major success for its creator, reaching the 5 million sales milestone less than two weeks after launch. With a new official map and additional gameplay options already in development, players can expect more content to arrive in the near future.
