Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker Update 1.3.1 Fixes Controls and Camera

Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker Master Collection Version update 1.3.1 releases on September 2, 2026, bringing fixes for keyboard and mouse control issues and a problem that could prevent players from progressing when using the Camera under certain configurations.

The update also includes other minor fixes, while the store page has been updated with Brazilian Portuguese support and a revised storage requirement. The required storage has increased from 8 GB to 21 GB.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed keyboard and mouse control issues that could occur under certain configurations.
  • Fixed an issue where players could be unable to progress after using the Camera under certain configurations.
    • Pictures can only be saved when the Steam Overlay is enabled.
    • The Steam Overlay can be enabled through Steam > Settings > In Game > Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game.
  • Fixed other minor issues.

Store Page Updates

  • Added Portuguese – Brazil to the supported languages.
  • Updated the required storage under the system requirements.
    • Before: 8 GB
    • After: 21 GB

Beta Branch Instructions

  • Players on the beta branch should revert to the Default Public Version.
  • Players who temporarily changed their polling/report rate to 125 should return it to their original values.
