Capcom has released Monster Hunter World Iceborne update 13.01 today. This update is out for consoles. Here’s what you need to know about it.
Monster Hunter World Iceborne expansion has started a new chain of updates adding new content including monsters. Capcom released a major patch to the game on March 23 that added two new monsters to hunt in the game: Raging Brachydios and Furious Rajang. This update launched for both PS4 and Xbox One and was required to play the game online.
After this major update, an issue was discovered in the game that disabled the in-game collection of various data points that the players give consent to share for Capcom. This issue has been resolved now with a minor patch that was released today.
The official update version for each platform is Update 13.01 for PS4 and Update 22.214.171.124 for Xbox One. You can check the version in the main menu when booting the game.
「An issue was fixed where data could not be collected for statistical purposes from players who gave their consent, after updating to Ver. 13.00 or later.
Please note that gameplay will not be affected at all pre- or post-patch, regardless if you gave your consent for Capcom to collect data or not.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause players.
Since this is a very minor update, don’t expect to download a major file for this patch. It is relatively small and should be downloadable and installed quickly.
