Mortal Kombat 11 PC version is unfortunately not that great compared to most of the major game releases. One of the drawbacks that are easy to notice is that cutscenes run at a lower frame rate and this also includes the fatalities.
Mortal Kombat 11 PC version offers mod support so this always meant it could be possible to fix the lower frame rate issue. This has finally happened now as the PC version now offers 60 FPS in cutscenes with a new mod in addition to 21:9 ultrawide resolution support.
This can only be done unofficially through a mod on PC. You have to install the mod in order to get the choice to unlock the frame rate. The best part though is that this will also unlock the frame rate in the Krypt making it a smoother experience to browse it in the game.
Here are the steps needed to get this mod installed for the PC version of Mortal Kombat 11.
Warner Bros. Interactive is also continuing to work on fixing the PC version and has just released a new update. They have also outlined the future patches that they are planning for the game that includes fixing the AI difficulty and game grind issue in Towers of Time and Krypt.
