Jim Carrey As Dr. Eggman In Sonic the Hedgehog Movie Looks As Bad As Expected
Sonic the Hedgehog is getting a live-action Hollywood movie. One of the big names attached to the project is Jim Carrey who is playing the role of Dr. Robotnik (Eggman) in the movie. It appears that a trailer for the movie is coming soon, but ahead of it, we have our first look at Jim Carrey as Dr. Eggman.
Jim Carrey is a classic actor who has played many comedic roles but with his portrayal of Eggman, there is a good chance that he might be able to up the ante and surpass his previous performance as The Riddler. In one of the leaked still from the upcoming trailer, as seen on social media, Jim Carrey can be seen sporting the look of Dr. Robotnik and seems to be flying some aircraft.
Sonic the Hedgehog still hasn’t received any official reveal. There have been rumors about a possible poster leak, and we have seen fan-made posters for the movie, but official media is still quite rare aside from a silhouette shared for Sonic the Hedgehog as part of the first look for the film.
Sonic the Hedgehog movie will star Ben Schwartz as the titular character, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, and Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik. The movie is out on November 8, 2019, and will be distributed by Paramount Pictures.
