NateTheHate Says GTA VI Remains on Track for November 2026 Release

by Ali Haider

Grand Theft Auto VI remains on schedule for its planned November 2026 launch, according to industry insider NateTheHate, who recently commented on the game’s release outlook on social media.

The discussion began when X user Raizor suggested that making major assumptions about the gaming market could be risky without certainty that GTA VI would launch this year. The user also speculated that a potential PlayStation 6 release next year could influence industry plans.

Responding to the comment, NateTheHate indicated that Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated title is still expected to arrive as scheduled. He stated, “Unless something unexpected & catastrophically goes wrong with GTA6 in the immediate future… it’ll hit in November as planned.”

While the insider’s comments do not constitute an official update from Rockstar Games or parent company Take-Two Interactive, they suggest that the game’s current development timeline remains intact. As with any project of this scale, release plans could still change if unforeseen issues emerge during the final stages of development.

Grand Theft Auto VI is currently scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Developed and published by Rockstar Games, the open-world action-adventure title is set in the fictional state of Leonida, featuring a modern interpretation of Vice City. The story follows criminal partners Jason and Lucia as they become entangled in a far-reaching conspiracy that spans the state, forcing them to depend on each other to survive.
