New PlayStation Sci-Fi RPG IP Footage Leaked, Runs On Unreal Engine 5

Leaked footage from what appears to be a brand new PlayStation IP reveals a sci-fi RPG that runs on Unreal Engine 5.

Based on the leaked information, the game is a sci-fi RPG developed in Unreal Engine 5 as first/second party PlayStation IP via the console maker’s xDev program in collaboration with an external game studio. The aforementioned external studio is currently unknown, though, according to a Reset Era member, it is known that it is based in Europe. The leaked footage from the unannounced game can be seen in the video below.

Additionally, Dusk Golem, who is known for his contacts in the game industry, stated that he couldn’t say whether the project will ever see the light of day, Though, he mentioned that he had seen a lot more of the unannounced game, including more recent footage than what is seen in the leaked video.

Golem stated that this new PlayStation title is currently at a point where characters are fully voiced and music has specifically been composed for it. According to him the game is in a far more polished and fine-tuned shape than what the leaked video indicates. He added that he’s looking forward to the game eventually getting announced and the developer getting the opportunity to properly reveal it to the public.

Golem shared some additional insight on Reddit, saying that “Ooze” is a nickname he attributes to the project rather than what it’ll be called. According to him, the nickname will make more and more sense when people see more of the game in action. He said that it’s a very “ooey, gooey” game; more than this clip would suggest.

Based on what Golem said, it appears that this unannounced PlayStation Sci-Fi RPG is relatively far in development, and may get an official reveal in the near future, especially in light of this comprehensive leak.
