Nintendo has expanded its Nintendo Switch Online retro library with four more classic titles, giving subscribers new games to play across the Game Boy and Game Boy Advance collections.
Nintendo Switch Online members can now access the Game Boy titles Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, Fortified Zone and The Sword of Hope II. Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members also receive Dr. Mario & Puzzle League for the Game Boy Advance library.
Originally released on January 21, 1994, Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 puts players in control of Wario as he collects treasure and uses a variety of transformation helmets to overcome enemies and obstacles throughout the adventure.
Fortified Zone, first released on February 26, 1991, is a top-down tactical shooter that lets players switch between two mercenary operatives, each with different abilities, while infiltrating a heavily defended military complex.
The Sword of Hope II debuted on September 4, 1992, blending first-person adventure mechanics with turn-based RPG gameplay as players explore a dark fantasy world using command-based interactions to defeat a great evil.
Rounding out the update is Dr. Mario & Puzzle League, which originally launched for the Game Boy Advance on November 29, 2005. The compilation includes two puzzle games, challenging players to clear coloured vitamins in Dr. Mario and create large chain reactions by matching blocks in Puzzle League.
