The popular horror film Obsession will have its digital release next week.
According to Letterboxd, the film will be available on digital platforms beginning June 30. The release will include both the theatrical rated version and the previously unavailable unrated cut.
The news gives fans a chance to watch an alternate version of the psychological horror film following its remarkable theatrical run. While details about the differences between the two cuts have not been revealed, viewers will be able to choose between the rated and unrated editions when the film arrives digitally.
Obsession has emerged as one of the biggest surprise successes of 2026. Produced on a reported budget of just $750,000, the film went on to become a major box office hit after being acquired by Focus Features, earning more than $330 million worldwide.
The film was directed by Curry Barker, the 26-year-old filmmaker and content creator who previously gained attention through his YouTube work and the independent horror feature Milk & Serial.
With its theatrical run continuing to generate attention, Obsession’s upcoming digital release will allow a wider audience to experience both versions of the film starting June 30.
